I wasn’t in the market, I was thinking of getting some custom paint done on my Street Bob but then my wife suggested we look at the new bikes, WooHoo! I went straight for the 2020 Street Bob, but then they brought out the Low Rider S... mission cream over the next three months and now it sits in my garage. I’m slowly adding my own stamp.

Default My choice, the Heritage.

Hello,

In 2018, I was in the market for a new ride and wanted something to travel long distance without the weight of a bagger.

I was interested in the new Milwaukee 8 Softails and test rode them.

I liked the Street Bob and the Low Rider with the mid controls.

I also liked the Fat Bob and Sportglide, but the forward controls were a bit of a stretch.

Victor, the sales rep at Biggs Harley Davidson asked what I wanted.

I stated that I wanted bags and a comfortable ride without the weight.

He offered the Heritage, the floorboards and mini apes were comfortable and reachable.

I was hooked.

I then proceeded to seal the deal.

I purchased a rear shifter with the reach seat, stage 2 torque kit and continued to make the Heritage my own.

This journey continues with a Reckless Motorcycles Batwing fairing(from my lovely wife) and a very tall windshield(a 16 inch Slip Stream).

The forum is a great place to meet some wonderful people.

Thank you for your time,
Lboy06

Had a ‘92 Low Rider but was struggling to do any kind of comfortable long mileage on it after a wreck last year left me with a load of metalwork and repair in my leg. The vibrations from the Evo got painful.

I knew I wanted the 114, and always was a fan of the 80s black Low Riders so the looks and the dual-disc sold me.

I miss the skinnier profile of the Evo as I always felt like it suited the more agile bikes so I kinda wish they’d kept a 150 on the rear of the FXLRS (or a 130!) but overall it’s an incredible bike and it’s good to be back doing long, comfortable miles on a bike that’s a lot of fun to ride.

My wife sat on a Standard, it was easy for her to pick up off the side stand and they made us a good deal.........Yes, I'm using the "wife made me" excuse....LOL

I have a 2018 Heritage 114. I originally thought I wanted a Sport Glide as I was going to be coming from my Triumph Bonneville, which I loved but was too small and uncomfortable for long rides. When I test rode a Sport Glide, I really liked the handling but felt hunched over with the low bars as I'm 6'2'. I sat on a Heritage with a Tall Boy seat and that was history.

Chose my 2020 Low Rider for the 5 gallon tank, mid controls, cast wheels ( plug a flat in the middle of BFE) And ease of handling compared to my Road King.

Put cruise a rack some bags and a windshield and its a very competent touring bike.

Same for me. I love this bike !
Very polyvalent. But apparently not a success => discontinued.
