So I just learned that my 2021 Street Bob will come stock with a 114! They event sort of glossed over this without much focus. Anyone find this amazing? That's a ton of bike in a relatively light package!

Anyone else catch the event? Have any positive thoughts lol?

I dunno man, that 114 street bob for no increased price is a ****ing shocker. That shows that HD is still listening to the lower priced bikes request, and doubling down on it.

The Softail Standard, Electra Glide standard, FXLRS, and now the 114 Street Bob. HD is pushing the price of their bikes down.

Not a single softail got a price increase either.

They swung a homerun with the Lowrider S last year, and now they just made getting a stock M8 114 bike 3300$ cheaper.

From where I'm sitting, even though I dont care about the bike myself, I think it's a bloody briliant idea.
Every single stunt rider, "dynabro", or younger rider who doesnt want to start on a sporty now has a chance at the biggest stock engine in the lightest bike for a measly monthly payment increase more.
Pretty much every Softail hopeful has a super good choice to consider now, where as last year the FXBB was kinda "eh, if I wanted black instead of chrome."
Smart move from HD. I'm willing to bet that the FXBB is their big seller this year like the LRS was last year.

Yes, and a 114 black version, and every color is a basic two tone.
For 400$ price increase. Pretty damn good.
Pretty smart move from HD.
The only thing they could have done better is added ABS standard, ABS is still an option.

 

I ordered the 21 in September and definitely wasn't expecting it to be a 114! Throwing in the peg and pillion and there's a ton of value in that small bump. Glad I waited. Should have her before the end of the month!

I think you are exactly correct that they are listening and focused.

 

I was surprised to see this too on that bike. I really like the paint schemes. I think they're going to be a good seller.

All these bikes should be 114” at least. This engine is just awesome. Cant wait to get my Stage 2 upgrade to this beast already. Super excited about it. It is really peepy engine in stock form already.

 

This is so awesome!!! I almost bought a 2020 Streetbob but I am glad I held off. This is going to be a big seller for HD with the 114ci. I wonder what the range will be with this bike now having the bigger motor? Most people claimed around 150miles on the 107ci I’m seeing?

 

I think the 114 in the new Street Bob was the high point of the "event".
