I am not sure how I feel after buying a street bob in October. I have only put 100 miles on her so far.
No doubt the 114 will be great, but not a fan of the new colour and that number 1 on the tank, I bought a new 2019 in the denium grey and love the colour.
I am sure later this year once I have done some miles I will go have a test ride and see what the difference is really like.
What stage would be equal to a 114 performance?

At first I was bummed about FXBB getting the 114, only because I'd just bought a 2019 FXBB (in early 2020) and missed out on it lol. However, really, between the 107 and the 114, isn't it really just a difference of like 100cc's? Hell, when I first started riding, I got a 1200cc sportster, and I used to call anything with 1600cc's or more "mid life crisis machines", dudes going for the absolute biggest motor possible just for the number when my 1200 cc sportster would still leave them on takeoff (they'd get me on the top end tho...). But now, with 1600cc+ being more common, hell, might as well go for it, the bigger the better! Kinda like buying a V8 these days. You know a 4 cylinder could still beat you if modded right, but still, it's a V8 dude! It's just cooler. So I'm excited Harley gave the Streetbob a 114 without changing price, that's bad ***. Wish I coulda snagged one, maybe I can trade up with my 107 which is paid off. I think Harley is making some smart moves with this new Softail lineup, even if it does **** off the old dyna bros.

I'm glad they went up in motor. I've got a cammed 19 Bob that rips. The 114 is sweet upgrade for the street bob especially with the extras they include. But if I was buying one this year I would look at a LRS or something similar. I just hate the colors and the paint schemes on the new ones. They did sportys with the same paint job a few years back. Probs gonna go to 119 this year anyway

I felt the stock seat was to low especially with the peg set up on these bikes . I put the stock to up low rider seat on at first, big improvement. I am now running the tall boy and I like it even better. I had a saddlemen step up on my dyna. It seemed to put me closer to the bars.$hit wrong thread!

Been driving myself insane looking at this bike. I've been on a 7 month deployment that hopefully will be over with soon and I can't wait to get my hands on one. I previously owned an 09 Crossbones and 04 Road King but the area I rode in was terrible with traffic... I lost too many friends on bike accidents. Luckily now my dad has his Road Glide Special and I'm pretty sure I already convinced the wife on this one so I'll have plenty of people to ride with and I live in a nicer area to ride in.
Between the looks, price and engine size this ride is damn near perfect. Going to try to get the financials right with a 4 year loan so I can have it paid off by the time I retire from the military and I can enjoy the time with my dad.
