Default Screamin' Eagle Smart Tune Pro 41000445

Does someone know if the Screamin' Eagle Smart Tune Pro 41000445 is married to the ECM once used with a bike like the Pro Street Tuner??

I don't believe it does, but you also need the associated tuner as this set-up makes the ECM adjustments on-the-fly. Are you worried about warranty, or re-sale?

The Smart Tune Pro Module is not married to the bike. A tune from the Street tuner is required after it is installed or removed.
Fuel Moto can provide Power Vision tunes that work with the Smart Tune Pro module. I believe the module should be installed and programmed with the H-D Street tuner before switching to Power Vision.

I don't see why not, if you plan to get another compatible HD, it makes perfect sense and...saves $$$.

Afaik only the SEPST is married with the bike - the Smart Tune Pro isn't. Go on with the STP - I recommend it. I have it with my 2017 FLHXS and it works like a charm. It doesn't makes my bike running faster - but it accelerates much better and is running more smoothly under all circumstances like temperatures or elevation.

If you install the STP by yourself, you don't have to buy the overpriced toolset from Harley-Davidson. Just buy a metric M18x1.5 short tap drill and a 16.5mm driller. That's cheap and you have the true dimensions for metric threads (Harley's toolset don't have!)

That's not right. The SEPST just initializes the configuration of the STP one time and offers Autotune for a faster baseline of the STP - but it doesn't stays on the bike. You even don't have to use Autotune. After telling what components you have, you can remove the SEPST and start riding. But the tune will need much more time then before you recognize an effect because you're starting just with an base mapping.
