Pull the side covers and seat. Put a towel or small blanket on top of rear tire. Unbolt fender struts. You don’t have to unbolt the one going threw the underside of fender.Cover rear fender with microfiber towels. I had my wife stand over the bike in the backward cow girl position. I had her push lightly in a scissor motion on the struts just enough to slip sissy bar over microfiber covered fender into position. Put bolts in. Say Abra cadabra and pull microfiber towels. No scratches. I watched a video of a guy putting one one a street bob. Scratched his side covers bad.
