My boss has a 2019 Fatboy and wants to look at installing a batwing on it. He thinks he wants a street glide but would like to put a fairing on the bike first to try it until the he decides.

Any help would be appreciated. I find them online but not sure about the brackets and the windshield to go on it.

 

I have not heard of anyone who makes a batwing that’ll fit an M8 Fattie

 

Hogworkz says they have one but doesn’t show how it would mount, he has drab bars as well.

 

Has your boss considered taking a test ride or renting a Street Glide?

 

I told him to Do that. He loves his Softail. I told him go drive one..

 

It's not too long till Daytona and you are not too far for a road trip. That's a good place to check out who might make one.

 

Sorry I have no info on fairing fitment for a Fat Boy, but as for the Street Glide comparison...

If he loves his Softail, but just wants something different for wind management, then I suggest he continues to investigate fairing options. A Street Glide is a whole different chassis. If he wants other things in addition to better wind management (more cargo capacity, better passenger accommodations, etc.), then he may want to look deeper into a touring bike.

Just my opinion.

 

Just keeping this alive. Has anyone produced a batwing for the M8 Fatboy yet? Hopefully one is done to work with the newer styling.
