I figured I would post a short update now that I've been commuting with the new fairing for a few months. The wind management has been great. The 10" windshield that came with the fairing was putting the wind right at my vents on the top of my helmet. The ClearView 11" Recurve screen took care of most of that. I would still get a little buffeting over the windshield if I was behind a semi truck at around 80 MPH. Putting my MRA X-creen back on fixed that. The Touring X-creen was was just a little too tall in its lowest position. The bandsaw took care of that. I do get occasional buffeting from under the fairing at 80 MPH if I am coming up behind certain vehicles (mostly pick-ups), but it is very minor and I only mention it for the sake of being thorough. Very very happy with how it all turned out. It was expensive, and the poor mounting kit fit-up was a pain to deal with, but the final results were well worth it all. Between getting all the ergonomics nailed down and now the wind management is just right, this bike is just a joy to ride all day long.

Pretty close and ready to install fairing finally. Higher bars and smaller indicators installed today (Bitwell 10" pullback&Heinz) Fairing is also completed.

Hi there!
I’ve the same problem with my IMZZ fairing on my FXLR.
How did you fit your gastank on it? Mine doesn’t seem to fit with the brackets.. Did you do any modifications on that? Do you have a picture of it?

The mounting inserts pictured above that had too large of OD...I also had to grind down the welds at the base of the insert. Once I got the OD down to size I realized that they weren't fitting all the way in the hole down to the frame. I had to keep grinding into the weld until they slid all the way in.

@pp99 I have a similar bar I just installed on my bike. How's your vibration into the bars? My stock bars I never noticed any. The T-Bars feel like I'm hanging on to a foot massager at the fair anytime I go over 3k RPMs.
