Yeah, it was pretty easy to do on my ‘94 FLSTN. I just had to swap a couple of wires at the ignition switch. I did that to ease the load on the battery while starting. I’m not sure what you hope to accomplish by running without the lights though.

Love the slim! The fact that it looks retro from the start, is one of the main reasons I bought mine.
Bought it in denim to enhance the retro look (IMO), and have done a few small things.....black slip ons (liked the look of the chrome, then black ends look for this), swing arm bag, derby cover, changed signal covers, going to remove rear reflectors and maybe a spring seat, soon.

Removing ALL reflectors and stickers definitely helps to rid any modern aspects.
