Just looking this through, thinking of putting the V2H FXRT on my FXLRS. Anyone had any experience? Also, anyone know if there's a minimum handlebar height you need to clear the fairing once installed? Thanks!!!!!!

These fairings work. In 50 years of riding HD this is my all time favorite.
Dammit. My long standing rule of FXR parts only belonging on FXR's has been bent because of your bike.. That thing looks sick. The bags make all the difference though. To me the fairing looks too bulky up front without bags. Yours is perfect man.. damn I'm blown away
Planning on touring this summer, so the FXDXT fairing would not be going back on untill after the tour.

FXRT fairing, lowers, and pods are from JD Customs. Headlight bezel is TOL Design.
The pods have BaJa Designs’ Squadon-R Pro and the headlight will get the LP6 Pro.
I hope this is not the dumbest question ever, but when you got the fairing and lowers from JD customs, does it come with everything you need or do you order mounting kits and stuff as well? Also, how does the lower part of the lower mount up?

It comes complete: brackets (main, cross member, & lowers), all necessary hardware, headlight, and bezel. Lowers and pods (comes with grommet to mount OE style lights) are extra.
I order the TOL Design bezel because I am running Baja Designs’ LP6 for headlight. LP6 generates too much heat, needs airflow.
No trimming needed on the fairing. However, few holes need to be drilled where the cross-member mount and the lower bracket (fairing & lowers).
The lower bracket mounts on the frame. There should be a bolt hole behind the master cylinder and a corresponding bolt hole on the left-side.
