I have noticed my Viking Bags Dark Age swingarm bag is going to ****.. The front "lid" cover flap is starting to curl out at the edges, it is no longer flat like it used to be. I have also discovered some cracking in the leather near one of the mounting holes on the back. Considering I've barely been able to ride in recent months and it has been garaged and literally only been exposed to the sun for less than 24 hours since installation, I'm not happy with the purchase.

If I really wanted to go first class, I'd buy the Ends Cuoio swingarm bag. That said, I've had my HD swingarm bag for a year now and I'm still very happy with it.

I've got an Ends Cuoio saddle bag, which has been top drawer for nearly 3 years now. Been through British winter riding and South European sun, with only the Harley leather wax and regular washes.

Ends Cuio. Thick leather, designed to clear swingarm and indicators. Top quality.

I also have a HD swingarm bag, used on previous FatBob and am happy with the quality.

Personally I think you would be better served getting the quick detach sissy bar and rack. My kuryakyn bag holds all my stuff to include camera. And you won’t end up still getting another bag down the road for the weekend trips....
Also gives the option of adding a solo rack....

Decided swing arm bag here, too. I do have a tool bag mounted on the risers for the phone, gloves, and small items.
Swing arm bag gives me room for a change of clothes, toiletries, etc. for that weekend run.

I have had about four different bags over the years. I jus installed the Boss Swingarm Bag and Boss Riser bag. The quality is the best of any I have had.

The swingarm has the quick release and the Riser has the ability to lock.
