Question Low Rider Reach Handlebars

Will appreciate feedback on difference you feel, cost for job, and pictures from 2018+ Softail Low Rider owners who have installed the HD reach handlebars.

I had the HD "reach" handlebars installed on my '19 Heritage prior to delivery. I ended up replacing them with the stock handlebars from the 18+ Softail Low Rider, because I couldn't reach the "reach" handlebars. I like the Low Rider bars better. The stock Low Rider bars have a slightly lower rise and more pullback than the "reach" handlebars.

I don't recall the cost to have the bars changed. I think it was about a couple hours labor plus the cost of the bars themselves. There were no cable or wiring changes needed.

I seem to recall that you may have asked about this before Jim.
I find them very suited to me pesonally with the less (more flat) pullback and slight rise.
I think they look good too
Here's a picture.

My Heritage with the "reach" handlebars. Higher, narrower and with less pullback than the stock Low Rider handlebars below.

My Heritage with the stock Low Rider handlebars. About an inch lower and with more pullback than the "reach" bars. I prefer these, but maybe because they're closer to the stock bars on my departed '94 FLSTN.

I swapped to the reach handlebar, as suggested by Mo.Co.'s fitment guide, since I'm 5.5', I did to better reach the grips, but I cannot note differences at all with the sotck one.

cost, in Italy, is 120 euro (140 USD) for the handlebar and a couple of hours by the workshop, total abt 300 USD... that's why I did not switch back to the stock again...

To be honest, I found the "reach" handlebar positioned the grips further away from me than the stock Low Rider bars did. That's why I call them "can't reach" bars. I'm not sure what the MoCo was thinking here.

Jim, I have not heard about anybody using the Reach bars on a Low Rider. On my 2019 I tried three different bar combos using different pull back risers and "tracker" style bars.
Just out of wanting to try something different, my nephew installed the Harley Street Slammer bars on his 2019 Low Rider, when he brought the bike over for me to check out, I took it for a ride and you know right away when you're using the "right" bars. I immediately order a set for my FXLR. I'm like 5'9 or 10" with a 33" sleeve, the Street Slammer was perfect on that bike. Very clean looking bar, also notice the better wrist angle.

same here

HD sizes table reports less pullback for the reach than the stock and the tall one! Really can't understand.

I tend to agree with this. They don't feel any closer. For me its like Old Mike said "you know right away when you're using the "right" bars.".
I'm not tall 5'9" ,I guess its down to individual preference. I must have got lucky by not having to try out loads

what about the differences between the Heritage Stock and the low rider ones? I'm going to fit my Low Ride with the Heritage stock bar since it has more pullback and rise, it means I should gain further pull back simply leaning it backward. Is the heritage stock bar more "reachable" then the Low Rider ones?

thanks
