I had the bars changed before I ever rode the Heritage so I can't comment. I don't like "mini ape" style handlebars at all. As I said, I was looking for handlebars that were as similar as possible to my departed '94 FLSTN.

I bought some 2018 LR handlebars off ebay for $65 big ones and they are getting put on by a local indie towards the end of july. Riding with the stock bars isn't bad at all really, I am looking for more pullback is all. I was debating on whether to get harley's chizeled bars or a set of carlinis. I was quoted one thousand dollars from one of the harley shops near me for a stock set of 2018 fatboy bars risers and labor. That kinda swayed my decision, I'm still getting the pullback I'm ultimately looking for either way. I will try to post pics and give feedback after the install.
