Days of Thunder Barn
Hope everyone is doing well these crazy days. I took Black & Blue Annie to take some pictures at the "Days of Thunder Barn" in Mooresville, NC on a beautiful day this spring. This was the barn used to film some of the scenes in the Tom Cruise movie "Days of Thunder".
Since the movie a whole lot of jerks have unfortunately vandalized the barn by stealing wood planks from it for a piece of movie memorabilia. Yeah I threw in a shot of my fugly mug too.
Even though the bike is mostly just bolt-on Harley accessories (no real "custom fab" work), I had received so many compliments and questions on the bike and the way she came together I made a video going over some of the things I have done or had done. If you're bored enough hope it doesn't fully put you to sleep. I'm, obviously not a "pro video guy":
Hope you like the pics and the video if you watched. Ride safe!

Howdy and thanks!
Bars are KST Kustoms, 12" Renegades. I used a plug & play Harley canbus wire extender kit (also from KST) for electrical and the stock clutch & brake cables do work.
The bars fit me perfect at 5'8" with 30" inseam. When sitting straight upright hands are slightly below shoulders. When riding "naturally" hands are just at but not above shoulders. Perfect or me. If you are taller you may want 14".
They make 10, 12, 14 & 16". For 10" stock wires and cables work. For 12" use wire extender and the stock cables will work. For 14 & 16 you will need wire extender and you will be changing cables.
The guys at KST were easy & helpful to talk with. Talk to them about your setup and they will let you know just what you need for your own scoot.

Handlebars are REALLY important to rider comfort and the appearance of the bike. So, just to be sure I'm clear - If you're looking for "apes" where your hands are up above your shoulders you need 14 or 16. For me at 5' 8" when sitting straight up tall in saddle my hands are slightly below shoulders. When riding a few miles down the road, in that kind of natural slouch, my hands are just at but not really above shoulders. Just wanted to make sure that's clear. I just went in my garage to catch a photo so you can see better. This is just sitting naturally in the saddle like I'd be riding. Hands are ~about at shoulders~ but not above them. Sorry it's a terrible pic but I don't have any pics of just riding this bike taken by someone else and like I said, handlebars are really important so want to be sure if you're making a decision I can give you the best possible info. Ride safe!

Greetings from the UK. Love your shots, like doing those backdrop shots myself, especially the style you’ve done here, pristine bike with urban/rural decay in the back. Lovely bike too. Lockdown has slowed everything up here but planning a ride out to the American Werewolf Yorkshire village. Going to get a shot outside the Slaughtered Lamb pub, which is actually someone’s house.
