I took the passenger seat off my Fat Boy and find myself sliding back when I accelerate. I'm really tall though (6'6) so I don't want anything too low. Anyone have any recommendations for a seat?

 

Saddlemen makes a few solo seats with a raised cupped back.

The Saddlemen is nice, especially with the diamond stitch. I see some pictures with their full logo stitched on, and others with just the S on the top back.. Do you happen to know which it is? I wouldn't buy it if it had the full logo. The Mustang looks kind of goofy imo.

Anyone have any experience with Drag Specialty seats? The EZ-On solo seat looks pretty nice, I like the more vertical step-up.

I have this Saddlemen on mine. Only have about 100 miles so far so don't really have an opinion on comfort just yet. Feels like it will be good though...

 

Looks really nice on the bike, but it seems to be awfully gray rather than black. Is that just the lighting?

 

You can have Saddlemen make the seat in flat black leather. I emailed and asked them about doing a Step TR front LS rear in their black leather.
All of their seats are made to order, except for the ones they ship out as stock to places like Revzilla.

 

Food for thought, buy the saddleman solo, send it off for a mod. Aftermarket seats for the newer FB are slow to the market. I'm still hoping C&C gets it together and offers one.
