Default Fatboy seat advice?

So I picked up a Mustang Vintage Wide Tripper Solo Seat w/Backrest, and a matching Passenger seat, for my FLFB. I love it - unfortunately my GF not so much. We came from a Road Glide, and she's just not thrilled with the 12" width of the passenger seat (though much better than stock), or the fact that it slopes down in the front. We have an air cushion seat that helps a lot, but would really like to find something wider or more supportive for her.

Current passenger seat:

Best I've seen on the side so far may be a Saddlemen option: https://www.denniskirk.com/saddlemen...rd/4501493.sku

I'm concerned though that it still just as a 12" width on the back seat - don't want to go through the hassle of selling the mustang for a minimal (or no) improvement.

Thoughts or other recommendations? Custom seat companies that anyone recommends at reasonable prices?

I ended up with the sundowner combo on my flfbs. The wife seems to find it comfy for a few hundred miles at a time, and the solo seat is fine for me. Looks not too dissimilar to stock, and still allows me to remove the pillion when I want a stripped back solo ride.

Thanks Tomo - that's the other route I've been debating. Low cost option to explore as well. May just pick up one of those and compare...

I have a Saddleman Explorer that my OL loved and we also had a RGU. We since sold the FB114 and bought a Heritage. If ya want to try the Explorer, Ill let it go at a fair price and if the OL doesnt like it, just send it back. Its gathering shelf space...

Thanks kebo - just found an explorer for sale on the site at a good price, grabbed it to try. Much appreciated on the offer though, does yours have a backrest? May be a better option long term if this one works for her but not me Can you send a pic?

Also - what's an RGU?
