30th Anniversary Fatboy
#72
My last three bikes have been Fatboys and I rode them for literally a thousand miles. I loved all three of them. You do get used to the ride and I would not hesitate to buy another FB. You do learn how to muscle them around, through corners and tight spaces, and they are a ton of fun.
And in my opinion, the Fatboy is one of the top three best looking bikes HD has ever made.
However, I have to be honest. My 2020 Heritage rides circles around them. It is lighter and infinitely more nimble. It's close in the looks department, and I am doing things on the Heritage that I never could have done on the FB without bottoming out, scraping the floorboards or pulling a muscle. Let's be real here. That's a HUGE tire on the back of the FB. The Heritage has a 180 back there.

Dude, I ride almost every day, on both my bikes, and I've ridden just about every kind of Harley. That includes several cross-country jaunts and a ton of other long-distance trips.
However, after thinking about it, I might have overstated it a little. The Fatboy, in my opinion, is a fine riding bike. The biggest difference between the FB and the new Heritage is lean angle. You can be more aggressive in turns and corners on the new Heritage. Other than that, they are actually pretty similar except for obviously the weight.
