anyone ever come to find an answer for this? google only finds this thread. 18 softail pv4 enabling cruise control. HD dealer wants your first born to do anything here

I'm not sure how the pv4 works but it definitely works for the original power vision with the touch screen.
Here are the steps to enable cruise control for the touch screen PowerVision.
Make sure you have all the latest updates on your PV as well as the WinPV software. Pull the tune from your bike and open it up in WinPV. Under "Limits & Switches" section click on "Cruise Control"(click where it says Cruise Control, clicking on the checkbox next to it does nothing) and then change the value from 0 to 1. On the upper right corner of the screen there is a checkbox that says
"unchecked = Use value in ECM (Recommended)
Checked = Apply value shown to ECM"

Make sure that box is checked since you want to update the value in the ECM.
Save the tune and load it back to the PV and flash your bike.
Enjoy Cruise Control.
