Sport Glide peeps with painted bags.....
Question(s) for you. I am thinking it may be the next ride, but want the bags painted to match.
How does the paint hold up?
About how much was it to get them painted at a shop?
Anything to look out for?
Thanks in advance.

If your painter adds flex additive to the paint . I think it will hold up well .

I did mine myself. The only issue I had was matching the color as harley doesn't disclose their paint codes. I took three samples/test and I still think its a little off.
As someone said, you need flex adhesive. The rest is really scuffing, prepping, and sanding. The bags aren't huge so its a very quick job. Total I think I spend $275 in paint, adhesive, and clear.

I have purchased paint from Colorrite for my last 2 bikes and the match is pretty damn good.
