Thanx, good luck with your decision. Research told me they were obnoxious loud, so I ordered the quiet baffles too. Hell, they sounded like the stock exhaust! No ****. Not bad Al all. Don't let that scare ya.

Thanks for the well wishes! Hey beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right? I think the only thing we can all agree on and get behind is that the MoCo made a helluva bike with the new Softails, but the M8 doesn't exactly give ya the HD noise we all love, a little to much WHURRR and not enough RUMBLE!

Appreciate the feedback!

By the way, most of the WHURRRR is the twin counterbalancers and they do get quieter as the miles add up. At 18,000 miles I don’t hear it anymore. Something to look forward to as they wear in.

Yea I'm thinking either the mini or the SE High Flow Intake yet, looking to see if anyone is running that on here and can give me a feel for how their clearance is.
Don't know if it still applies, but there was a time when the Screaming Eagle tune was nothing more than a remapping of the ignition tables, with NO fuel enrichment, in order to stay government compliant. For any sort of real power gains you need to get more fuel to the bike!!! Just about any flash tuner out there will capture your factory settings and store it. If you ever need to bring into the dealer for warranty work you simply re flash back to the factory tune.

If the dealer connects to the computer on the bike, this will more than likely not work. Don't waste your time.

Then you are extremely lucky, or have a dealer that doesn't mind gambling with their payment.
Also I edited my post above for you.

I never made a warranty claim. I just had it connected to change some lighting settings. But a connection is a connection..
