It's a great mod, but my goal it to also have a gauge I can read in my line of sight when I need to see it.

Thanks I do too! As a 5'4" woman riding with a FF helmet, the factory gauges were a bad fit for me...couldn't see them at all without really looking down and away from the road

I really like this look as well, great job. Do you have a pic of the bracket they put on to fit it?

Unfortunate I don't. I know they had to cut down the factory ones due to the lower height of the Blackline dash and then fabricate the piece that bridges them.

Is it just a cover? Nothing structural?

That exposed thread is normal, but it begs for some kind of decorative cover.

Default Cam work anyone?

I’m looking into the available cams and which one would best suit my ‘20 low rider s. Anybody have any experience, knowledge or prior history with cams for the 114” M8?
My plans are this for bettered reference:
-Bassani RR3 2-1 (rear sweeping full system)
-Arlen ness air cleaner kit
-dynojet power cmdr V (undecided; also seeking suggestions, maybe an auto tuning optioned brand instead; also accepting suggestions with that lol)
-ported and polished heads (probably around same time as the cam work)
-RSD vintage moto bars (smallest w/ the 3” rise I’m about 5’10” 170 and the set up now is feels great)

im pretty sure I can get the exhaust/air cleaner on myself and have the dealer tune it after without voiding warranty , or so I’m told. The cam, tuner, and polished heads will come a little later. But I’m already putting orders in each week to have everything sitting in the Gee-rage (no that’s not a typo! &#128514

accepting any suggestions with the more technical mechanics like the cam and tuner etc. lemme know what you guys or close friends have exp. with. I don’t want no he said she said **** though fellas. Let’s keep it real, we’re talking about mour pride and joy here right?! Hahahaha

5:25 am, at the job site with a fellow HOG owner and crew member in the truck. Cold ride but couldn’t help myself!

Love these new motors, just a little quiet for my taste!

Wish they woulda kept the exhaust on these just a little shorter, guess it’s gotta go! Lmao

much appreciated!!!
