Not gonna lie. I think this is the best bike I’ve ever owned and I’m not an H-D fanboy.

My dealer just got a black one in so I swung by and sat on it. Love the way it sits and it feels so light compared to my Road Glide. Next week I'm going to take it for a test drive and I have a good hunch I'll be putting a deposit down on it.

Agreed! There is one sitting at my local dealer for two weeks now. They won’t budge on MSRP but it’s there

It’s the PERFECT complement to the RG.

I think these bikes will sell well, but not as much as some of the dealers are thinking. They have only been out about a month and there is already one sitting on the floor at one dealer locally at least.

classic honeymoon-effect. It’s the new thing, many people like to be the first to have the new thing so they drive the immediate sales, then it’s not the new thing after some time and sales taper off.

I may or may not be, in this particular situation, one of those people who want this new thing—this time. I’ve been saying my Dyna will be a “forever” bike for me, but then this one came along... and made me want the new thing.

in a similar situation, i inadvertently ended up with my truck being one of these sought after models—2016 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro in the “special” Quicksand color. Just a random thought.

but I am battling my inner want with my needs over this bike.

I’m going to check it out in a couple hours though...

They are hot and I love nearly everything out of the gate. I just put some Rinehart slipons and basically it’s perfect. Everything else spent is just making it my own but nothing NEEDED. I’ve been waiting a long time. No offense to the Dyna crowd but when I road one I just wasn’t all that impressed with the suspension (I’m picky about such things) and the chopped fender. So I waited on H-D for another 3 years. I thought it would be the same here but the 2020 LRS is better in almost every measurable way.

That said these dealers thinking they’ll sell like the next hot iPhone are nuts. I get they want to feed off the frenzy, but **** a motorcycle isn’t exactly chump change.
