I like this a lot. May be an alternative to my power vision gauge solution...
The pic I posted of the other guys bike has the Street Bob gauge setup. I am definitely considering that, not sure yet. I want to get my bars and fairing on before I decide what I'm going to do with gauges. I should have the rest of the stuff to do the bars this week, and the fairing is out for paint. I'm going to use 14" Split MX T bars from FXR Division.

I ordered another of the "Y" shaped mounting blocks, and had it machined down to 1" wide at the clamping surface. I got it to fit, but I will need to do a bit more massaging to get it perfect.

1) It's a little too high. I think I'll need to machine about 1/4" off the legs of the mount to lower it a bit. I'll measure a few dozen times because I don't have the tools to machine, and I'll get one shot at it bringing it to the machine shop I use.

And...

2) The bucket touches the top tree so I its aimed about 1" low at 25" - which may not make any real world difference, but as I'm a lunatic, I need it to be right. So I'll look at rolling a small indentation into the top of the bucket where it is touching.
Do you think when you machine the legs it might solve the clearance issue?
That light looks really good in there.
The stock light is not very good at night for my eyes. I'm glad I won't be using it much longer.

Hmm, I didn't think of that. Interesting. I have to measure exactly how much I think the housing has to come down, and it may very well solve it. It only has to angle up a tiny bit to meet the mark on the wall. So maybe. It'll be a bit as I'll have to order another block. Pulling the connector out of that grommet in the neck is too much of a PITA to want to swap back the stock headlight, so I'll want to leave it as-is until I'm ready to swap the base. We'll see.

This is a good headlight. The Gen 2 version dual burns, meaning the low says on when the high is activated. Throws a lot of light at low beam, high is just insane... Works well to remind the oncoming cages that their brights are on :-)

What's the PN for that?

71340-11 for the console
71576-08A for the rubber molding, it uses 2 of these. I ordered 3 just to have a little extra.
72775-11 for the little badge that snaps in to cover the mount hole.

If 24v or Mchad changes out the rear fender with a Deuce fender . They will have created a whole new sports model for Harley ! That would compete with the sales of the Lowrider S .

Ended up with the sundowner two up. Needed something in stock so it was only H-D and the only ones within 300 miles were a badlander or sundowner. The badlander was a hard pass after sitting on it. Not crazy about the looks of the sundowner but 1000 miles this weekend and my wifes or my butt have no complaints and the looks are starting to grow on me but I much prefer the solo seat if it’s just the daily grind.

Does that fairing have a replacement shield that comes up 4 or 5 inches higher for better win protection ?

This weekend I splurged and bought some Roland Sands Tracker grips in Black Ops. I think the dual finish will match the wrinkle black and gloss black of the bikes. Damn the ability to customize these bikes, it’s a blessing and a curse (on my wallet)
