So, now I have HW bag lowers and Advon Black Softail mounts sitting in the garage doing nothing and LPs on the bike. I like the LPs and had them from my previous bike but I think I would rather have hard bags.

thanks, I also debated on leather pro’s, I am very happy with the clamshell’s. This being the first hard bags I have owned the only down side is you have to be very conscious about kicking them getting on and off the bike. Especially with black. So far so good.

I’ve never heard of Wilbur’s but it looks like a quality shock.

First I ever heard of them also. As far as price I don’t know either. You can look up the company or maybe hit Matt up in comments. Notice for the front just spring’s no cartridges.

Found this

An interesting read on the Nivomat shock and a good video showing it in action.
At least now I better understand it.

A couple of the Cycle Fanatics guys like them, but they’re more sport touring or sport bagger type riders. It was a matter of time before Wilbers trickled down to the soft tail bikes, I just don’t know if there buy in is worth it….

Touched up the riot pipe…

Put my hand guards back on and raised my bar.

They are my old hand guards with the turn signal cot outs. I think they look alright.
