I’ve had Ohlins front and rear for a week. Better all around, and in tight mountain roads it does great.

Looks like you pushed those fork tubes all the way down to the edge of the caps. I'll be doing the same thing next week. It should level up the bike nicely with that 13.5" monoshock in the rear.

it does even it up, I did my fluids and everything is similar as far as ounces compared to previous amounts before the suspension upgrade. Your right about the springs they are firm but not harsh at all. Just what the doctor ordered.

Red face

Looking at the bike after the upgrade the bags and fairing hide the new ride height..

But trust me that big a$$ block is on there for a reason 😂. I bet those that go with the 14.5 shock and 2 over in the front must have a lot of fun. I think I will stay, probably 😂.

Good job, if you need this extra clearance for riding hard...
But not necessary for me, I never scraped my pegs in the twisties, I am certainly a too calm rider...lol...

lean angle is a plus but raising up has more benefit. My bike falls into corner’s much easier. Track’s better as far as holding a line. The inverted forks on the s models are by shell only. The stock guts are the same as standard forks. Olin’s cartridges with the shims and a13.5 shock is money well spent. I look at it like this Olin’s complete inverted forks is like 6k, Harley gets you half way there with the s stock set up.

Funny thing is when the m8 softail was introduced in 2018 with the mono shock all of the dyna guys (including me) were a little salty. Now that many of us own the new and improved we are still spending money. 😂
