Picked up the large mini floor boards to install and match the small mini floor boards on my highway pegs. Also ordered dk custom’s softail m8 peg adapter’s as they are the old style pegs.

Were I got the idea
I asked Paul in comments if the mini’s raise or change foot height. He says it is the same as the stock peg height. That was the main reason I did not buy the trashin mini floor boards as they raise foot height and like all metal floor boards they might cause vibration issues. The Hd’s have rubber top pads and are reasonably priced.

I like the boards you got Durham, I wear boots with lug soles and find they get hung up in the cleated style metal boards, which makes it dangerous to get to the brake or shifter for me.

I should have the peg adapter’s in a couple days from dk’s, I will let you know how it goes. I think they will work well.

I have these Harley ones, haven't thought about them much but all rubber pads seem like a good idea. Endless revisions.
Spikes look dangerous.

Floor boards done, they feel great! Time to test ride.

NG I was able to get some good riding in yesterday, very happy with the new boards. I was wondering if they would move around when using my HW pegs but they stayed put. I did have to adjust my shifter up one notch. They don’t feel higher but because they are wider it called for the adjustment. They do provide a nice planted feel.

Some update.

Trimmed and wrapped the Clearview 11” windshield. Also, mounted the Baja Designs S1 on the forward bolt of the fairing’s lower bracket (for now). Currently sorting-out the wirings.

Slid the fork legs down flush with the top tree and made some aluminum shims for the lower tree.

A peek of the painted carbon fiber rear-fender. The front fender and side tins have the same visual effect.

Thank you BillTownssi for the generous pice and fast shipping!
I bought the saddlemen explorer seat from forum member BillTownssi at a great price. I have been running the Hd tall boy to comfortably run the stock mid controls. The explorer also lifts the rider up but I feel a little more forward. Definitely better back support. I like it.
