Went out Saturday with the 9” klock werks and I got some buffeting. Guess I will try the 12”. Put The 11” clear view back on today. 2 hr ride , 38 degrees and zero buffeting. The klock werks looks killer but the clear view out perform’s it like night and day!

Have you tried it with the lowers yet?

If so, any tangible difference in buffeting?

I did not purchase the lowers. Putting my hand at my chest it did not seem like that was the problem. At 6’ tall I think the klock werks 9’is not a tall enough. I was getting the on -off wind from the top of the windshield. The 11” clear view works perfect, like being in a bubble.

Lowers make a difference, I have them and get no buffeting with the klock werks. I do like the Clearview better but my clutch/brake levers made contact with it.

I remember reading that your clutch and brake were hitting. Funny thing mine were hitting with the klock werks and not with the clear view. I am only running 6.5 risers with he stock bar. I am able to get full lock left and right with this set up with the 11” clear view.

Thanks a lot DM.

Good to hear about the 11” Clearview shield.

One more question,

Since you are not running lowers, do you find or experience any excessive movement/vibration on the fairing when hitting a bump on the road?

no vibration. Very little movement over bumps.

I was wondering how well those grommets and e-clip set worked out as I would like to do the same to my fairing.
