Just a heads up, its the SE/ward manifold, not HPI.
Take it easy on that beast, Joe. You've got a real rocket ship there!!

What's up, guys? I've had this bike for about a year now and I gotta change something or my back is gonna break. I'm thinking more pullback on the bars and forward controls, but I had a question before I do anything. If I grabbed a set of 1 inch risers, what's the tallest apes you think I could get away with on the stock setup? Think I could get away with 10 inches, would 8 be a safer bet? The stock risers are 4.5 inches + a 3.5 inch rise on the bars correct? Anyways, thanks.

Dont quote me, as I had a shop do my 9.5 risers, but I think stock cable length Might have worked on them, but we still went with longer cables.

The max with stock bar is 6.5 and that’s pushing it. I run 5.5 risers with 1 inch riser extension’s and that puts me at about 6 1/4 riser height with stock wire and cables.

What is that wooly seat ya got there?
6” or so is max above the top triple clamp with factory wiring and brake cable. Slightly more on the clutch cable if you pull it out of the center hole.
kraus makes a 2.5” pull back plate that I am using with pull back risers. Total pull back is ~12” from original riser holes. I am 5-8 tall and I can now get comfy. Even lean back on the sissy bar bag too!

Rock on guys, thanks. The seat is just the stock seat with a walmart car seat cover with a camping pad under it lol. It was a temporary solution for a longer ride I did, I wanted to sit a little higher so my legs wouldn't be as bent.

The Denton Performance shield I ordered on 1/4/22 was delivered yesterday and damn, it was totally worth the wait.

Denton even provides new grommets and E-clips to mount the HD Quarter fairing to the mount more securely.

My last piece is to find new foot pegs, shifter arm, and rear brake pedal.

I’ve looked hard at Crosstread Cycle and Flo. Are there any others I should be looking at?

I also have the Greene Brothers Designs shift linkage and rear brake linkage on the workbench ready to go.
