You need to cut down the 2 mounting tabs on the tank, make a new little bracket to adapt from the 2 tabs to the single mount hole on the Blackline dash under the Harley emblem, and trim the Blackline dash a little down near the seat to match the shape of the tank.
The parts you need are...
1 of these... 71340-11
2 of these... 71576-08A
1 of these... 72775-11
If you do it properly the hole at the bottom will line right up and you won't need any sort of bracket down there. The one in your picture is not done that way and you can tell by how far down the Harley emblem is in relation to the fuel cap.

Did something pretty silly today but bear with me... So I bought a Low Rider S in june, thinking it would be my do-it-all bike, sold both a Kawasaki and Triumph to fund it. Really loved the bike but never quite found it comfortable enough, and got some back problems at the same time that seemed to get worse. So decided to sell the LRS, and traded it in for a BMW r1250r. Fantastic bike, great on bad roads, very comfortable etc but it lacks that "Harley feeling". So I kept looking for a Harley, but not as my main bike but as a second bike for those short sunday rides, or bar-hops with my friends. While looking for second hand options, I came across my own LRS which was on sale for a few hundred euro than what I sold it for. Hasn't been ridden since I sold it, km's are the same as the day I traded it in. Than I figured how cool it felt riding it, and what a great bike it can be when I use it for those shorter rides. Yeah, suspension isn't the best and I found it harsh on belgian roads but damn did it look and feel great.
On top of that... my back has gotten even worse, even after riding the BMW and even after NOT being on my bike for a few weeks now. So I also figured my back pain really wasn't solely due to the bike itself, but just me getting old and used (I'm 48). Also, been looking out for a Road King Special which looked great and felt very nice, but to be honest it's quite a bit of added money for a bike that I would be using as a second bike anyway. So I bought my LRS again from the dealer and will be taking her (back) home next weekend. Also got myself a Saddlemen seat which probably will help with comfort, and might do a small riser/pullback thing when I feel I'm still leaning a bit too much forward.
So there you have it. Silly right?
Silly? Maybe.
