I’m about to do a similar setup to my bike. I’ve had all the parts sitting here for months;
-Zipper’s 124” w/flat pistons
-Bandit Clutch
-7.1 gps injectors
already did;
-Feuling Cam plate/pump & solid push rods
-468 cam
-Thundermax ECM w/auto tune(wideband O2s)
Before I rip it down, does anyone have any info on the twin-cooled assemblies in the heads, on the exhaust valve sides? Any links to videos or a chat with someone who’s done it would be great. Even, hey, this is the wrong place, you’ll find that here, would be good. I did all the other work myself.
thanks

How did you come up with the size for your injectors?

I'm a lot shorter than you (5'8") but I had a similar experience the first several times I did longer rides on my 2020 LRS. I'm still thinking about trying forward controls, I made three changes that helped a lot:
-- Replaced the stock pegs with Kuryakyn mini hex footboards: https://www.kuryakyn.com/products/52...folding-boards
-- Replaced the stock seat with a Saddlemen step-up seat
-- Replaced the stock risers with Drag Specialties pullback risers

I didn't want the bars to be any higher than stock, but because I'm a shorter guy I wanted something that wouldn't make me stretch quite so much. I went with Drag Specialties 4.5" pullback risers.

They have about a 1.5" pullback. At that size, I didn't need to change or extend cables. In researching that issue before buying, I saw some reviews that said you wouldn't need new cables for risers that were 6" and under. I definitely had some play left in the cable with the 4.5" risers, so I'm guessing you could go at least another inch and maybe two without having to extend cables.
I got the matching top clamp and top clamp bolts from Drag Specialties. The OEM top clamp will work with the risers but the OEM bolts are too long. I bought the matching Riser Bolts but ended up not using them, because the original HD bolts worked great with the new risers.

Vance and Hines slip ons, LED turn signals and a Motherwell rack I had to do some customizing on.
A swing arm bag and currently at a stage one tune. Waiting for a quarter fairing to be painted, then I'm done... I think. Maybe a stage two.
