2020 Low Rider S owners
#1181
My recent history is 2004 Low Rider, 2013 Vrod, 2014 Street Glide, 2019 Low Rider and now this Low Rider S. I didn't like the reach to the handlebars on this bike but have fixed that with pull back risers, at around 5'10" this bike is a good fit for me, the steering is very light, handles well and is fast. With bags I can change it into a sport tourer in 5 minutes so it's everything I need plus more fun to drive than the Street Glide, even has cruise control.

You want a luggage rack or a tour pack rack? Two very different things. The luggage racks are made for the LR or the LRS:

The only one from Harley is the one they make for the Sport Glide but it sits back further for two up seats and you'd have to re-locate your turn signals or cut the mount to make it fit.
I had bought (and sold) one to try out not long ago and found this out.
Rack for 180 tire.

I have only ridden about 100 miles on the new seat, so it is still breaking in, but as far as support, it is much better than the stock seat. I am a taller rider(6'3" tall with a 36" inseam) so i actually had them modify the seat to push me back an additional inch from the normal seat they sell. I was told by the gentleman i worked with Carlos, that the normal seat is 1" back from the stock seat. The only thing i wish was that the seat had a bit more height to it, but if you are not a taller person, that will not be an issue for you.
From your description, seems to me that the Gambler may not help me much....

Looks nice, and at 90.00 they are pretty proud of them!

"Curved laydown license plate mounting bracket" on ebay. It was $48.95. Bolted right on and made an awesome difference. Just look for the ones that have the 3 mounting holes. I think older softails and sportsters all had them. I ordered it too long ago for ebay to show it in my history. One of my first, and still one of my favorite mods.
Hope this helps!

Or bend the stock holder?
It's a 2-piece thing, take the back (taller) piece off, plug the 3rd hole with something (any autoparts store has black plastic trim plugs) and bend the stock holder (WITH SCREWS IN PLACE, otherwise no room to insert screws after being bent) flat. Remount and voila, laydown license plate holder for free.
Maybe I'm just cheap lol

Drag Specialties 3.5" pull back risers
[QUOTE=OldMike;18752974]Drag Specialties 3.5" pull back risers, lower about 1" and about 1.25" closer to rider with the stock handlebar adjustment.
For the average human it's a two person job so somebody can hold the bars in place. Also going to need shorter than stock socket head screws, I had 1.125" stainless from Home Depot (I think).
I think the size of the stock faring looks about right on this bike so these stock bars are a good fit and can't notice much looks change with the new risers.
I'm thinking about Velcro mounting a Power Vision screen to that dash in front of the bars.

I installed exactly the same risers and the handling got much better. Thank you OldMike;18752974 for the tip about the socket head screws! Saved me A LOT of time.

I changed to 5.5" risers, it's as far as the stock wires and brake line will stretch, just changed to a 2" longer clutch upper cable. Also, in my sig picture you can see I added a Laminar (removable) fairing that I cut down by 2", it adds a bit more wind protection without getting to large.

Whats up everyone new to the forum but picked up my 2020 low rider s a couple weeks ago. Iv been searching multi forums for a week now trying to find this answer. I got my 11" bars mocked up and figuring out cable sizes. For the upper clutch im going 38". but cannot for the life of me find upper brake line. Iv read thru all 119 pages of this page along with others. Does anyone know the part# for upper brake line +4? Any info would be greatly appreciated
