Anyone found a GREWAT seat for the 2018+ Heritage?
Found a great thread on the topic but still no conclusion (https://www.hdforums.com/forum/2018-...-day-long.html) by T^2
Has anyone else found the perfect setup for aftermarket seat for the Heritage yet?
I'm 5' 11" 215 lbs with 32 inseam. I feel like I could use a little downward adjustment to get my feet flatter on the ground when I stop. It's not necessary but a little lower elevation could be helpful in keeping me from burning my calves on the primary.
I'm thinking about ordering a mustang seat but after reading the above reference post from T^2 it makes me think its a waste of my time. But then again I'm a bit taller than he is.
Also looking to add an engine guard with highway pegs. Any suggestions or tips on that would be helpful too.
I'm taking a trip from Reno, NV to Boise, ID in mid august (my birthday party at my sisters house) and need solution for the long ride.

I used the H-D front engine guard and Brute Highway Peg Mounts. These mounts are steel and very rigid. Pick your favorite foot pegs to go with 'em.

I put the HD chrome engine guard and the HD short angled pegs. I cannibalized the pegs from the Fatboy I traded. Went with chrome because too much black on the bike and didn't want to add more. I just put the Mustang wide touring seat on. No riding history yet with this bike but had Mustang touring on 3 other HD.

I realize I'm a bit taller but I didn't notice any change in my leg reach when I went to my Mustang Touring seat. This seat required no break in whatsoever. I got it a week before an 1800 mile trip up the coast and back in California and Oregon. Far far more comfortable than the stock seat with lower back support from the front of the passenger seat. I tried the Saddlemen and went through their break in procedure and for me it never got comfortable with the miles I ride. I've got 21k miles on my ride in the 18 months that I've owned the bike. The gel insert of the Saddlemen also retained heat on these hot Sacramento summer days and for the first 20 minutes after it's parked in the sun I thought my nether regions were suffering the results of being dipped in a boiling lobster pot. That ole Christmas melody, nuts roasting over an open fire.

I picked up a Corbin Widowmaker almost a month ago on the forum. I usually get the Dual tour. However, this one was available at a great price. It's a sporty looking seat that has good back support. I've only gone on 1.5 hour trips. And so far I'd say it's a comfortable ride. Much better than the HD stock seat. I ride a 2019 Heritage 114.
