Default Rear Shock Question

I've read in a couple of places that there are two different length rear shocks on the 2018+ softails. Does anyone know which models have the longer rear suspension travel? I think the Heritage Classic is one. Any others?

Thanks,

Chris

Heritage is correct and Fat Bob is the other.
I installed a heritage shock in my Low Rider.

Cool. Thanks Tozco. Did you notice much difference in the longer shock as far as ground clearance, handling or ride quality?

Yes, I am pleased with the increased ground clearance. With the rear raised up, the steering is a bit quicker. The increased rear travel is fantastic on bad bumps, no more bottoming! I'm about 230 lbs all suited up. The one area where it falls short is that it could use more rebound damping, but for a cheap quick fix, it can't be beat!

That's good to hear. I have my eye on the Low Rider or the Sport Glide. Quicker steering and increased ground clearance is what I'm looking for. I have been riding BMW's for a long time and have been used to practically unlimited ground clearance and long suspension travel.

Thanks for the information.

For what its worth, I traded my Super Tenere ES for my Sport Glide and have no regrets. I sometimes miss the liquid cooled engine and extra ground clearance when I'm in the mood to ride like an idiot, but the Sport Glide is a better daily commuter. For reference, I also swapped out my rear shock for a Heritage take-off.
