I am looking for a windshield for my 2018 Breakout, for the longer weekend trips to help cut down some of the pressure on my chest. I am currently considering the Wind Splitter Quick-Release Compact 14 in. Windshield, as I will only be running it on trips of greater than 2 hours. I searched through the forums but didn't find the details I was wanting.

Is anyone currently running a shield on their Breakout and if so which one?
I was unable able to find just the Harley quick-release setup without a shield, did I miss something?
If you are running an after market shield, where did source your mounting hardware?

Any and all information welcome.

 

I have a Memphis Shades touring Fairing. used it 1 time bought a sport glide, but worhed great for me has all of hardware for the breakout,, if u want it make a offer

I've got an '18 breakout with the Quick Release Super Sport windshield. I didn't want the stainless cross straps. Works great in relieving pressure from your chest at highway speeds. I was concerned that the 18" version would be too tall, but I'm 5'8" and can see over the shield without a problem. The quick release clamps are the ticket! Easy on and off and some adjustability up or down on the fork tubes.

 

Hey I know its been a while since your answered this question but by chance do you still have the fairing you spoke of?
