I also could never find a clamp that would fit so I used the existing memphis lower clamp for fairing. Found an L-bracket, drilled holes and used longer bolt for the added bracket. Hope this helps

Default Thanks

I thought I see in your pictures that you had somehow attached them to the fairing.

I really want them on the forks because I'm anticipating wanting to switch between the stock fairing and the Memphis on a fairly routine basis. Most of my riding are short one hour long rides near the house (South Louisiana Heat).

I bought the Memphis primarily for longer rides in colder temperature.

I think I'm going to try to have the Kuryakyn clamps machined out.

Are you going to be moving the Memphis mounting hardware? It was my understanding once that is mounted you will not be able to use the HD fairing as it will not fit.

Yes, you are correct. You do have to either remove or reposition the Memphis mounting hardware to reinstall the HD Fairing. That is my initial plan however, I plan to study possible modifications to the back of the HD Fairing to see if I can't somehow get it to fit without having to remove or reposition the Memphis mounts.

Haven't decided to go that far just yet. I'm having the Memphis Fairing painted next week to match the bike. Who knows I may like it enough to leave it on permanently.

I'll post pictures when I get the fairing back from paint.

Hello Aussie HD,

Your Sport Glide looks great, especially with the V&H Big Radius Pipes. I also have a Sport Glide but with an HD SE performance exhaust. Shortly I will be installing a SE torque cam and would like to buy the Big Radius pipes, but have not been able to talk to anybody who has them locally, so I would like to ask you a couple of questions.

Low end torque, did you perceive any loss with these pipes?

Sound, what baffles do you have in them and what do you think of their sound.

Drone effect, after an hour ride, does your head feel numb?

Thanks
Ted
