Sport Glide mods
#571
I did the same mod with an LRS seat on my Sport Glide. It has really helped get the rider triangle sorted. I have 10” Biltwell pullback bars, and with my C&C seat I was too far back from the bars. The stock seat is close to the right position but I find it uncomfortable and I slide back under acceleration. The LRS seat feels like it put me a little higher up, a little forward, and holds me in place better. I ride solo 99% of the time, I like the look, it’s a perfect fit for me (6’ tall). Just wish the quality of materials was better.
Note; in my case it was a direct fit other than having to drill a new hole in the fender to accommodate the mounting hardware.

My ‘21 also had 3 holes and 2 seat mounting bosses, but none of these align with the LRS seat. A 4th hole needs to be drilled in the fender and a boss moved to suit.

Great bars for Improving your ride
Bars are a very hard item to shop for . I ordered three sets and the returned the two I did not like. But here’s a great set for improving riding position on the LRS or the Sportglide .
There made by Flanders Handlebars.
There listed under , Swept Back Flat Track ( wide center) J5.
They have have a 4.25” rise , 11” pullback , 7” center and are 32”wide 1” bar in black or chrome.
The part # 650-28085 for chrome ,and punch hole to hide wires internally , price $165.

A little late to respond, but a reference point. Previous owner put Dunlop 407's and 408's HD branded tires on the bike I currently own, at 10,300 miles, on a big trip. This was in August of 2019, on a 2018 Twisted Cherry Sport Glide.
I bought the bike, second hand from his, with all service receipts. Bike now has another 6100 miles on it, and the tread reading in the rear is a little over 6/32 " in the center of the tread, and 9/32" on the side of the tread. This is on the Dunlop 407 model. Soo0, at the rate I'm going and I'm a pretty much a conservative rider on the throttle, I'm pretty certain I have another 6000 to maybe 7500 or 8000 miles left on that rear tire. I pretty much cruise through the canyons around here, and rarely if ever get hard on the throttle... everything is bone stock on my 107 for intake, engine and exhaust systems.
I'd say that Dunlop is a good tire if you're going touring, I can't speak for it and how it grips or holds up in the canyons.

I know this was some time ago but do you know which kit the S&S Mini Teardrop was that fits the Sport Glide. The Model number if possible Thank you. Charmain.

Here’s my Sport Glide mods, so far. I went a little different route than most, but I’ve been told that I also am a little bit ‘different’. Not always in a good way…..
My deletes……
the fairing was removed day 1, I’ve never tried it, prefer to see the black headlight with chrome rim.
the panniers are seldom attached, only used to get groceries or bike parts. I wear a back pack most of the time.
the black muffler heat shield, I prefer to see the chrome.
the passenger foot pegs, no need for them.
My swaps……..
the stock dual seat for Low Rider S seat.
the stock grips for HD heated grips.
the black rocker covers for chrome covers, did I mention I like chrome?
the stock mono shock for Hyperpro.
the stock right battery cover for non-RAP cutout.
My adds…….
Garmin GPS.
cheapo TPMS.
power supply cable for heated jacket liner.
So, a bit weird because there are no modifications to the intake, exhaust, or engine. I like smooth and quiet…… and chrome!
