Sport Glide mods
#531
I bought the Memphis Fats 19" clear windshield kit and used it for a while on my Sport Glide. Also bought the 21" screen later and it gave the best protection from wind buffeting around my helmet my my height (5' 11"). The Fats windshield is very well made and designed as you can adjust the shield angle to fine tune the wind deflection and pretty much eliminate buffeting around the shoulders and head. It works way better than the stock windshield on the 2 Road Kings I rode for 12 years including long trips out west. However, it does change the looks of the Sport Glide which you may or may not appreciate. Some pics below.

Like @VernDiesel , I have the Gustafson 15” vented. Unlike him, I have installed the lowers and can tell you they work great. A dramatic reduction in air over the tank. I have minimal buffeting, if any. Love the set up.

here is a list of mods i made to my 2019 Sport Glide
Memphis Shades batwing with 5" windshield in black
relocated turn signals and added CD LED inserts
CD sequential light bar
HD Engine guard and soft lowers
4" curved risers and chrome switches
Stage1 Ventilator + SE street cannons + SEPST
I use my old power vision to monitor her vitals
Garmin drive 60 gps
Soft lowers are so good at eliminating buffetting, i might replace them with hard permanent ones.
So far I am super happy with the bike

I just wear a half-helmet. I could ride with no eye protection and the wind would be no problem. I have a Gusataffson 15" vented windshield and lower deflectors on my stock fairing to control the wind. Works great. 5'10" tall.
