So some weeks ago, I forgot to secure my saddlebags properly, and this was the result:

Aaargh!
A can of spray putty, a lot of sanding and a can of bumper black later, plus spraying the other bag to match and this is the result. Now repairable too if I ever get that stupid again:


Even got the badges back where they belong. ADR19.05 only requires one reflector on either side of the bike, so I didn't bother reattaching those.

 

Bummer about the damage. Nice repair job, though.

Did the case stay closed as it tumbled down the road?

It did. It was a 60 km/h zone on a bridge. The case just skidded along the face of the lid and fetched up against the bridge railing.

I am pretty much done with all the mods to my 2019 Sport Glide with one exception. On order are PM contrast cut wheels. The rear wheel will be an 18 inch with a 200 x 50 tire. Below is a list of the mods and some pictures:

You've really changed the look, it's really no longer a Sport Glide but doesn't look like any other bike either, more like several bikes.

 

Yeah I was thinking the same - kinda a combo of a Low Rider S and a Sport Glide. Call it a "Low Sport" or a "Sport Glow"! ;-)

My only concern now that the rear signals have been relocated to the fender struts is that you can no longer attach the Sport Glide's hard bags to the bike. :-(

 

The hard bags were the first thing that came off the bike when I brought it home!

 

I took my 2020 in the touring direction but I like your low profile look just as much. These things are so customizable.

 

I love the bike. She looks great. Has anyone else noticed the deer in this picture? At first I thought it was a very tall dog. Even the deer likes the bike.
