Yeah I was bummed I had to reach more sitting in a saddlemen; I could still reach and do low speed maneuvers, but I was leaning forward a bit. But these pullback extensions were just the ticket and now I can lean back and relax a bit.
if I had to go back and pick a bike all over again, it’d be a low rider if I didn’t pick the sport glide hahaha. No one makes a block off plate yet for where my old speedo will be in the dash, so I’ll just plasti dip over it until one gets made and I can put that in later. Gauge are arriving Friday along with the new speedo harness, I’ll get everything out on Friday hopefully. Color rite paint is supposed to be here Thursday, I’ll be painting my Memphis shades fairing too. But yeah; I hate tank mounted gauges since I wear a full face helmet, and this will be a much safer setup

Indeed, with the forward controls, it changes the bike to a more lean back position, if you have to reach to get to the bars, your back pays the price.
I moved my tach to my mini fairing and cut a round plastic piece painted wrinkle black to match my console. I looked hard at the Sport Glide, would be happy with either bike.

I finally found the perfect mod for my Dyna Low Rider.

Come to find out it was / is a Sport Glide. Not a fan of the mini floor boards, and a few other mods coming my way. So far so good.

EZ to install also. Use the M8 Softail Footpeg Adapters seen HERE

Then get either the full size chrome or black floorboard seen HERE
The floorboards are adjustable forward and rearward, as well as laterally. Better lean angle than the OEM pegs.

Are any mods needed to the shift lever or foot brake lever other than adjusting?

Finally completed my dual gauge conversion. Gauges from an FXLR. Plastidip over the stock speedo until a puck is available from 31 State/Guerilla cables

What a ride! Magic is having a day off from work, planning a ride route and putting seat time on this bike.

My short, fat fingers need brake/clutch levers with reduced reach. Are the new softail levers compatible with standard Harley levers? Looking for functional, no BS "fancy" levers.

Also, the snap rings that retain the pivot pins on the brake and clutch levers are different sizes according to the parts list:
Clutch side - 11143 Thanks to another poster is McMaster Carr - Part #98410A118
Brake side - 11379
Anyway, currently searching for snap ring pliers that will fit and size of brake side snap ring because I know spares will be needed.

with regard to reduced reach levers, I suggest checking out Rick’s adjustable levers. They’re pricey, but I have them on my bike and they’re great. Lucky Speed Shop makes shorty levers that are easier to pull, but I’m not sure if that’s what you’re looking for.

I second @moose328 on the Rick's. I had the Oberon's and had issues. Love the Rick's.
