Default Should I powder coat or not

I was originally going to powdercoat my risers and topclamp gloss black. I put on 1.5 inch gloss extensions tonight....and now I dont know if I should keep em chrome or coat them. Hell i didn't think I was even going to like them, but I think it keeps the low drag bike look. What do you guys think. I will note that everything I replace is going to be black and machined cut.

My vote is to powder coat the risers and clamp. It will give a more cohesive look.

I would powder coat them. IMO it doesn't look right with the lower black spacers.

I am thinking maybe I will send the risers and my chain guard together.

Contrary opinion. I think the bright risers compliment the fork tubes with the back triple trees. Sort of carries the flow upward and makes the top end lighter.

Yes, this.
I've said it before, once you go down that black rat hole it never ends till it's all black.

My wife would agree. She says I need contrast. I just took it for a spin around the neighborhood...man that 1.5 makes all rhe difference. I had to put a washer on top of the bushing washer. Other than fhat they fit great.

I just ordered black bars for my SpG. At first I wanted to black everything out but then the chrome bits grew on me. From the front axel up there's a pattern of black/chrome, black/chrome, black/chrome. I decided to keep that theme going but really like the riser on my bike which is chrome along with the top of the triple tree, thus I ordered the black bars. Can't wait. Your bike looks great, Man.

Power coat ln this case. I do prefer some chrome with black but it needs to be in the right areas.
