Yep, that'll be a fun bike for sure. I've got a Stage1 107 Softail, and it RIPZ!

Had some room to play as they owed me a bit in the trade.
You did good getting rid of that boat anchor, I traded a Street Glide in for mine last November.

Looks like you stole it from the Harley website.

To be honest, I've been missing them too. They are really handy when wheeling the bike around the garage or driveway by hand.

Edit to add: if you've ever had a maximum-effort emergency brake event with a passenger on the back (like when a truck turns left in front of you), you'll appreciate the passenger having something to grab on to. Ask me how I know.
I tell every new passenger I take
  1. Keep your feet on the footpegs. If you take them off, it means you're getting off the bike. (kind of a threat ;-)
  2. Hold onto me. I'm the only thing here going the same speed as you.
  3. Lean with me. Don't try to steer the bike, just keep in line with me.
  4. If we're stopping really hard, slide your hands forward and up onto the tank and press there. I then have them practice once.
BTW, nice job with the grab handles. Should be a Harley accessory!

Yeah, that was a great deal. If they had been chrome, I'd have bought them the day he posted them. Enjoy!

HAHA great analogy. Glad to see I'm not the only one to ditch a bagger
