Default nope, it never ends

Performed a three hole fluid change this morning before it got really hot and nasty outside. Installed a new Defiance derby cover while I was at it.

I replaced the straps with zip ties to gain a little more room in side.

It's nice to have a place always on the bike that you can stash something.
Re Viking bags, I'm wondering about the clearance and heat over the exhaust.

I have the Harley bags and there's 2 or more inches of clearance above the stock exhaust. The bottom of the exhaust side bag gets warmish, but the bag is leather.

The bottom of the Viking bag on my Dyna melted on the exhaust after I put a growler of beer in it for a 10 mile ride home.

I'm actually thinking of adding a little heat shield to the bottom of my Harley bag. Weird observation - the HD bag is shorter over the exhaust but the bag is actually bigger than the bag on the other side.

Default Fat Bars!

Installed fat reach bars this morning. Lower and a bit wider; amazing that such a small change in dimensions can such a difference. I’m just at 6’ and thought they were only for shorter folks. Not so. Whole different riding experience now, a bit more relaxed.

Man, you were spot-on mentioning how hard the passenger foot peg bolts are to remove. I just put bag guards on my 18' heritage this weekend. Had to drill out the allen heads just to remove the peg supports, then use a tiny PIPE wrench to turn the rest of the bolt out of the frame-what a bear! I'm from Ormond too. Where do you PLP?
