What did you do to your 18+ softail today?

Picked up my powder coat parts a few weeks ago. Got distracted by a Dyna, now I’m on the low-bob (fat-rider?)
Hitting some snags with my Amazon side tag mount and the fat bob left turn signal standoff. The left side stand is shorter to accommodate the tag mount and it only fits with the HD tag mount. Found this out after coating, slight bummer. Plan is to use the low rider stands and have the left signal about 1/2 further out. Hooks to the left babe. Might order the HD tag and coat it down the road.
Hoping to have the wiring tested and fender in place this weekend. The fender removal was really simple, remove the wiring and then pull the four rail bolts and removed the fender, rails and lighting in one piece. Hoping to assemble and install the same way.
Bike looks cool with no back end, imagine a little fabbed up seat pan and cruising, a peppered wet wild ride.

Finished up last night, hardest part was the wiring. I have three solder guns a battery powered, a 120vac and a butane. I couldn’t find the butane torch but found two full cans of butane, the 120vac got almost hot enough -stripped tip and the battery powered had me painting on solder. Back to the trusty old Bic.
Need to thank Custom Dynamics, Cheryl was super cool and spent time on calls and e-mails. The triple play and pro beams worked like a top, signals are in sync with fronts, flash rate is good and they’re super bright.
Tucked the controller behind the right side access cover, only had to make one splice (****ing solder guns) in the frame rails for the tag light.
Need to finish up the cleaning/detailing before dropping her down. The seating position moved about an inch up and toward the bars, which is cool for me, I needed to get my knees a bit straighter and even with long arms needed about a 1/2 more pull back on the risers.
Looking California, feeling Minnesota, oh yea.

DM, thanks. It’s a eBay CC rider seat, the one item I decided to skimp on - $160 bucks.
It did have white stitching, broke out the black sharpie and colored them in. The two tone black does match the bike, a happy accident.
It’s a massive wheel well now, might have to pick at Frans brain on a larger tire setup.
It really needs some wind, hopefully the weather holds out a bit this morning.
