Enjoying the stock S1 FXLRS, the CCriders seat is fantastic after a few hundred mile of break in. Motor is freeing up at 1700 miles, on par with my 90-100hp sporty.

Stock tires are not my cup, rear is 70% done. Did a quick search for tire replacements and it looks like the majority doesn’t ride on nasty chippy mountain roads and gets 5-10k out of the rear. Thinking about the Conti trail attack 3, have them on the sporty and like them.

Harley contrast cut coil cover. And of course the headlight fairing I put on a few weeks back but I rerouted the clutch cable bhind the fairing for a tidy look.

I mean technically you can do what you want. I had an issue where I sold a bike to a guy that I’d peeled the stickers. The DMV gave him a ton of hassle over it and after fighting it for months I actually bought the bike back. I sold it in state and there was no issue. He was trying to reg it in commieforniaso it was a bad deal.

I just put it in my owners manual... I thought maybe dealership looked stuff up with bar code... But hell... A rock already hit it perfect and removed a letter... Stickers are non permanent... Seems stupid for something someone thinks is necessary.

Beautiful bike. Some low, black tear-drop mirrors on short stems would look fantastic on it.

Thank you for the kind words and recommendation. I have Harleys black teardrops on order at my dealer. I also have a set of Harley black levers to put on. That should complete the changes at the controls I wanted to make. I debated on going chrome at the controls but ultimately decided to go black with the adversary theme for a slightly more modern look. Everything Harley is expensive including their mirrors but I bought 2 sets of Amazon far east mirrors only to be disappointed by their sloppy fit and finish. Needless to say, I had to send them back and pony up for Harley’s.

I still need to figure out pipes but I am going to wait until winter for the change. I will end up sacrificing one year of warranty as I will not go EPA compliant and will do a Power Vision and cam at the same time.

I rode my bike to work today, put an opened can of monster from yesterday in my handlebar bag. i at least wrapped the top with cling wrap. on the freeway it pretty much exploded and got all over my gas tank. that is what i did to my bike today.
