no I didn't even know about em but I passed by on my way out of town. They weren't open yet but I almost wrecked my bike yet it was smelling so good.

 

installed advanblack st fairing. what a waste of money. it rattles and wiggles even with a support bracket. does fit together right. missing hardware. cheap Chinese hardware. Windshield gasket didn't line up with holes for bolts
​​​​​​come to find out its the same exact one from amazon for $400 less. most likely same factory. took 6 weeks to receive and its even unpainted.

 

Sorry to hear about your issues with the Advanblack ST Fairing. Mine went on my Softail Standard fairly simply and is tighter than a crab's ***. No squeaks, rattles, etc. Not particularly crazy about the windshield or it's hardware but am now looking at a Clearview product.

The couple of small issues I had with Advanblack were squared away on their "Chat" area on their website. A fellow named Wing was very responsive. You may want to give him a shout.

I have nothing to do with the Advanblack company. I am just very pleased with their fairing.

 

figures, I have been reading and watching reviews on that fairing for a year. All positive in every way. Now I order one and I read this. 😂. Did you request a paint color? Did you watch the install video. I am currently running a jd custom’s fxrt fairing. Solid as a rock when installed correctly. Lot of people on line can’t get it right. Maybe you should go over your install. Many claim it’s better than the factory Hd st.

 

I am also on the fence for this fairing, and what I see and read about it seems to be fine...
There is also the TCMT model which is cheaper and seems to be fine too...

 

if i could i would go back and just by the amazon (tcmt) version. plus being cheaper it comes gloss black.

I think you’d still need to get the mounting brackets from advanblack or drill a hole in your frame.
as far as I can tell, the brackets on Amazon are for the ST(and 2023 or newer S).

 

i chose unpainted as that was $500 cheaper. the support bracket i made uses the L shaped bracket they sent.

 

Why did you make a support bracket? Did it not come with all the hardware?
