I've had cruise control on a couple of bikes. Might have used it 3 times total. Call me odd, but I like to be the one in control of my throttle.
Also, I don't have a drink holder, nor a cell phone mounting gizmo. I can stop if I get thirsty, and check if I missed any threating phone calls.

As for the drink and phone holders, I'm with you there.

Also put a few miles on today, 50 degrees on Dec 16 in Michigan, would be crazy not to.

Until a few years ago, I was never about a phone holder. But then I realized, it is nice to know the time in certain situations since I do not wear a watch. It is also nice to be able to use the map app now and then.
As for cruise, just like in vehicle, there is a time and a place for it. If we are on a fairly long and straight run, and traffic is spread out, I will certainly set it. It gives my right hand the ability to stretch. Not getting any younger you know

Well Great news is that they aren't totaling my bike and are paying out to have it repaired!
Cost of replacement for my bike is a lot higher than the repair even with a replacement frame. That be the "harleys hold their value" playing into my favor.
Bad news is that the painter who was able to restore CVO paint jobs with touch ups retired so I got to find a paint shop that will do a touch up of the tank paint damage. Or Ill have to grab some pin striping brushes and try to match up paint and do a touch up myself.
Any suggestions for a motorcycle painter in the PNW who might be able to help would be awesome. I'd be more than willing to put down 700~1000$ to fix the paint chips instead of getting a whole new tank painted and what not.
Just gotta coordinate with the shop to get them to repair what I don't want to work on and rebuild the rest of the bike back myself.
