Just partially installed a TBR stainless air cleaner. Waiting on a set of breather bolts which should be here Wednesday to finish it up.
I still haven't washed it from my ride to Nor Cal over Labor Day. Probably get to that this weekend. I really need to find a decent looking throttle body cover. I see HPI has a Carbon Fiber one, but cannot find it in stock anywhere. Might have to go with the Kury version for now.
I'm also considering a set of Speed Merchant pre-load adjusters and the San Diego Customs one-piece fork brace, but that will probably wait until I decide if I need a rear shock or not. I'm going to play with the pre-load a little to see if I can improve the ride before I drop money on a new one.

yesterday I lent my Heritage to my brother-in-law for a ride because his Road Glide broke down, and as he had to carry his wife I set the preload to 3, whereas for me alone it's usually 0 and for the return journey he took my LRS and I the Heritage (alone I might add) and well I found the damping better than on the 0 position whereas I thought it was harder, maybe I'll lower it to 2 but I think it's better that way...
so I'm going to do the same on the LRS which is also usually on 0 (I should point out that I also have a Heritage shock absorber on it)
any thoughts ?

On my FOX Shock, All the way to Maximum preload. Slow Rebound with a passenger.
I weigh 150lbs with gear. My bf weighs 165lbs with gear.
Even for me as light as I am, any adult passenger means automatic maximum preload.
You probably feel better damping or suspension behavior because you might have a closer to your needed preload on the shock.
How much do you weigh with gear on?
If you're 160 or below, the setting is 0.
180, 1, 220, 2.
Your gear probably weighs a bit more than you expect.
I weigh 131lbs naked, 150 with gear. That's around 20lbs of gear not including a backpack. My sissybar adds another 7~10lbs, not including what's in a backpack.
My FOX Shock for solo on my Fat Boy is set to 1(roughly 170lbs) and it feels right but a bit stif. Stock Fat Boy shock it was set to 0, and it felt a little bit stiff.

I weigh about 195 with gear...
I saw the table which indicates that on the Heritage with my weight I should set the preload on 1 without luggage, I thought that by setting it to 0 it would be even more flexible and finally at 3 I have the impression that it's better than 0, so I tell myself that on position 2 or 1.5 it would be a good compromise idem on the LRS...

For 195, I'd set it to 1.5 or 2.

Working on my turn signal extensions and Viking bag installs. Extensions aren’t terrible but the wiring was pretty bad and the instructions didn’t help. Got one turn signal wired up and tested. Finishing up the other turn signal and license plate light. Then it’s figuring out how to fit these bags on the bike.
