Nice! I think the KST bars were the ones she was looking to get anyway. A friend of ours had a 22 Heritage with a fairing with a radio and speakers and it was apparently trial and error before finding the bars that fit hers. Wife jumped at the opportunity before they sent those back and everyone won. The only downside was she was forced to purchase a new Tacform cell phone holder that would fit 1.5". As you know, they are not cheap. But I was able to use her old one on my 02 Dyna. Since my $15 special on that bike had to go!
I like the look of hers better. But I like the feel of my Carlini's better.

I'm prepping the frankenstein build front suspension parts for install here soon.
I just cut 1.75in spacers and 2inch spacers for the Progressive Springs kit, much shorter than the recommended 2.2 inch because...
DK Customs (RICOR) Intiminators will be making up the rest of the 2.2inch "Preload" spacer length. They are .5inches thick.
Going to start with 1.75inch Spacers to total 2.25inch preload, effectively matching the instructions.
If it's too soft, I'll swap to the 2inch spacers, giving the bike 2.5inches of preload.
DK Intiminators handle Low and Highspeed compression differently.
So this setup will be a nice match up for the hyperpro 461 shock that will be going in my bike, in a few months to replace the FOX shock, which also has high and low speed compression adjustment.
Oh and soon a 260 Cruisetech Rear, to give me even more ride height and handling.
Rayearth is gonna be one nimble Fat Boy.
What good is all that power, if you can't turn it?

Nah. I just very much enjoy the thrill and fun the motorcycle brings me.
I've ridden a ton of other motorcycles and my Fat Boy has really fit me better.
The upgrades have been bonuses, not requirements.
The bike has been fun, it's made me happy.

Fran, what draws you the DK custom pieces ???
i just had my fork tubes replaced, got delayed for a week waiting on seals to arrive and during that time...i debated doing inserts and ran across the Ricor pieces.
very curious to their performance and your outcome...i really wish i would have done something while it was apart...

I went for the intiminators because they handle low and high speed wheel input differently to handle better, and DKCustom recommends them.
Especially when combined with a performance spring kit like Progressive's fork springs.
They liked the Intiminators so much that they acquired the rights to manufacture them under their own brand now.
They're also relatively simple to install.
You just have to turn the fork leg over and drain the oil out, remove the stock spring, refill and cycle the new oil in, put the intiminator in, then put the new springs in, get to the proper oil level, and reinstall everything back on the bike.
They are also cheap.
It was 360$ for the Springs, Intiminators and Oil.
A lot cheaper than a 650~1000$+ cart kit.
The front suspension is already pretty good, this stuff just builds on it and makes it better for cheaper than having to swap in a 1000$ kit.
Even if it's only 10% better, that's 10% bonus being better, not 10% trying to reach acceptable.
