Because it's much wider and I'll need the clearance.
Another user here posted the comparison between the SE, AN, and FM filters and the AN one is the one that fits the closest to what I need.
If the BMF filter was as wide as the AN one, hands down I would have already bought it.

Did an oil change and installed a new rear brake pedal. I've had the idea to do this for a while, finally got around to doing it. I think it will work well, but I might want a wider skate wheel at some point.

I also have a pink, blue and yellow one. Black would be the obvious choice, but I like it for now. The bike is Deadwood Green, so kind of tough to find something close to that.

Didn't realize the bike is green. I'll bet it does look good.

Is the wheel free to rotate? If so then you use the fixed pedal for stability?

Pulled the front off for a new tire install, then went over the bike front to back, getting ready to head out to Sturgis and beyond in a few weeks.

For now the wheel can rotate. It works fine if I ride with my boots because my heel locks on the back of the peg and I can put a decent amount of pressure on the wheel. If I wear tennis shoes I don't have as good a grip on the peg and too much pressure on the wheel can make my foot slide forward with the wheel. It's not ideal. I may come up with a way to lock the wheel from rotating, but it's ok for now. Not necessarily a safety concern for me. I'm a dominant front brake rider and majority of my riding I do with boots. I will leave it like this for now.

I'd be worried about the wheel rotating in an emergency situation.

Lock the wheel.
