Does anyone happen to know who makes a solid mid control conversion kit that fits a 2021 Street Bob? The only one I've been able to find is Performance Machine ($1400). Really thought there would be more options. Starting to regret not getting a Dyna just a little bit. Any recommendations would be very much appreciated!

 

I’m confused. Are you trying to install forward controls or mid controls?

 

My bad, didn't mean conversion. Looking for decent aftermarket mids. I bought it from someone who put forward controls on it. For some reason I'm having a hell of a time finding decent options other than stock and the Performance Machine set. Everything I see if forward.

Didn't do anything to it today apart from ride around, but I did book it in to have my S&S475 cam, pushrods, lifters, tappet cuffs etc...all installed and then dyno tuned on Friday. I was going to do the work myself, but my tuning guy (who I trust implicitly) is only going to charge me for 2.5 hours labour for the install, so no reason not to go in that direction.

Come Friday we will see the results. I am hoping for around 130HP, 135TQ. 2022 Low Rider ST 117" M8.

 

I would add the S&S cam chain tensioner

 

I did the same, with a ThunderMax tuner. Never dyno it. Keep us informed. Mines a 2020 with 114" motor, so I'll just deduct 3 to whatever you come up with.

Finally got the bike lift all up and running. Changed out the wheel chock that came with it and now much happier.
It makes polishing the bike much easier as I suffer from Sciatica.
