There shouldn't be with a 2/1. I thought I might run into it with my 2/2, but it runs great with a Stage I tune with the SE Pro Street tuner. I originally installed the 2/1 but it was the wrong kit for my bike and the correct one was on backorder. I'm happy with the 2/2.

2 into 1's are notorious for having low end torque dips on the M8. That's one of their primary problems, and difficulties with tuning.

The complete opposite was true on my '17 RGS with a Fuel Moto 120 kit. Had to ditch my duals and go to a 2/1 D&D which fixed the problem. Fuel Moto always recommends 2/1 on the M8s. Not shortys, though. Maybe that's what you mean.

Keep in mind, the bike only has 180 miles on it and I have not quite romped on it yet.

I have always heard that the best performance on a Harley is obtained with a 2 into 1...

Like others have said, a LONG 2-1 is the ideal exhaust for these bikes. Most 2-1 exhausts for our Softails seem to be shorty versions, or at least that's what most of us are ordering.

Basically any dyno sheet will show you a torque dip with a short 2-1 exhaust, some worse than others. While it makes for any ugly graph, I absolutely cannot feel any dip in power no matter how hard I try to pay attention to it, despite my graph showing what appears to be a big dip.

The Butt-Dyno is the best gauge. I haven't twisted a throttle competitively in years, so it's all good! lol

Went out for a quick spin now that we got some nice 70* weather. I'm actually really impressed with these cheap Shinkos! Grip levels feel as good as the Scorchers did when they were new, but at least compared to the last 3k miles of the Scorchers, these Shinkos feel super planted in the long high speed sweepers I have in my area (think, 80+ mph sweepers).

I know I sound like a broken record as well, but I love this XD cam. I'm still smiling like a moron every time I take the bike out.

Found some cool graffiti too.

Any chance a full face would fit in your tour pack?
